
PRESIDENT
The Duties listed below allow for personal creativity and may vary from
Centre to Centre.
The President shall be responsible for:
- 1. Maintaining established principles for:-
- Constitutional Matters
- Discipline of Centre
- Aims and Ideals of Centre
- Monitoring the operation of the principles as above and
facilitating any changes in accordance with the Constitution.
- Representing the Centre where possible at:
- Association Annual General Meeting
- Association State Conference
- All Centre activities
- Meetings with outside agencies where applicable
- Chairing and conducting meetings in an orderly manner. With the
assistance from the Vice President and Secretary; establishing an Agenda
for the next meeting to be held.
- Observing the meaning of the Constitution.
- Ensuring fair hearing for all members.
- Bringing to the notice of the committee any
issues or matter which may affect the Centre.
- Understanding meeting procedure and encouraging
all members to participate in an orderly manner.
- Ensuring that all Committee Members carry out
the tasks allocated to them. Sending out emails to those with tasks.
- Preparing an Annual Report on the Centres
activities, for presentation to the Annual General Meeting and the
Association.
- Arranging a Planning Session for the coming
Season.
- To ensure Volunteer Register is
up-dated.
